Challenges
The biggest challenge came during the erection phase, which had to be carried out directly above active railway tracks at Jalandhar Cantt—a high-traffic and strategically important railway station.
This required careful planning, execution in limited time windows (railway blocks), and strict adherence to railway safety protocols. With a deep focus on safety, coordination with railway authorities, and efficient onsite execution.
Key Highlights
A key highlight of this project was the precision in bending of pipes into complex shapes, followed by accurate fabrication to form the final truss assemblies.
The trusses were constructed using Ø455 mm pipes with 16 mm wall thickness, bent meticulously to the required profiles. These large-diameter pipes were shaped in our facility to match the specific geometrical and structural requirements of the station’s architectural plan.
This project reflects our capability to deliver high-stakes infrastructure work under constrained timelines and challenging operational environments.
